We are pleased to partner once again with the Marriott Marquis in Times Square as our official conference hotel, which will also be the location of Friday's exciting Midnight Crisis session.
The Marriott Marquis will offer participants of CMUNCE a discounted nightly room rate for the weekend of the conference. The hotel is conveniently located 5 subway stations away from Columbia University on the MTA 1 Line.
Although it is completely optional, we recommend international delegations arrive a day earlier so as to settle in comfortably and be able to visit Columbia University and the city of New York before the conference opens.
Due to safety and logistical concerns, groups arriving by van or bus should be dropped off directly at the Marriott Marquis. Groups of 10 or more arriving by van or bus will be charged a porterage fee by the Marriott Marquis.
Please note that CMUNCE does not provide reimbursement for any porterage fees that may be charged by the Marriott.
ROOM RATES AND SCHEDULING DETAILS
Hotel rooms will be available from Thursday, January 11, 2018 through Sunday, January 14, 2018; check-out will take place Sunday morning. For international delegations, rooms are available before and after the conference. This year, conference check-in will be available at the hotel in addition to on campus as a more convenient option.
Standard King rooms (consisting of one king bed) and Standard Double rooms (containing two beds per room) are available. The discounted room rate is $250.00. Hotel room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently 14.75% and $3.50 occupancy tax per night) in effect at time of check-out.
