As the Voting Rights Act was being signed into law in the United States and the Beatles were entering the unfamiliar world of popularity, India and Pakistan are engaged in a deadlock over the piece of land that had been contentious since Partition: Kashmir. Delegates from Pakistani and Indian government have tentatively agreed to come together to possibly work out a peace treaty. Under the possible extension of the olive branch, all of the major players have come to the table to discuss the division of a land that has for so long united them all. Members of this committee will join us in the 60’s as some of the most powerful men in South Asia decide whether or not to take their countries to war once again.
