Joint Crisis Committee: Sepoy Rebellion 1857: Indian Rebels

The British Crown has gained rule over a majority of our great nation within a few decades. Once a proud people with a rich history, we are now slowly being forced to succumb to foul western practices while quickly losing autonomy as our leaders are slowly being replaced. Many have become tired of the heavy-handed rule of the British East India Company, which continues to implement their projects of rather rapid westernization. The British rule may have brought some benefits, but these are purchased by the sacrifice of independence, of national character, of whatever renders a people respectable.

Thus the time has come when we shall simulate a meeting of the most prominent leaders of India of our time, strategizing new paths to be able to continue life as we want it. We must decide whether we shall attempt to negotiate with the crown through diplomacy or if we shall deploy more aggressive means, but no matter what we cannot go about day by day as we have been before. Change is necessary, though caution to the wise that never before has something on this scale been attempted in all of Indian history. The downtrodden people of India will look to you and your leadership over the course of these days, and we must not disappoint.
