A War Torn Galaxy: Star Wars - The Clone Wars JCC
Galactic Republic vs. Confederacy of Independent Systems (CIS)
In a shocking turn of events, a rescue mission led by Jedi Master Mace Windu to the planet of Geonosis has sparked a galactic wide conflict. Count Dooku alongside the Separatist Council has openly declared war against the Galactic Republic and they are prepared to pit their Droid Army against the newly formed Clone Grand Army of the Republic. The repercussions of this conflict are already being felt across different worlds as both sides aim to expand their territorial claims. The aforementioned has culminated in several planets being engulfed in all out war, forcing both the Republic and the Separatists to stretch their resources in order to escalate military efforts and establish dominance in the eyes of the galaxy.
As expected, the so-called Clone Wars have resulted in severe ramifications for both sides. From the Galactic Republic side, Jedi Knights have been impelled to assume the position of military generals, which greatly differs from their traditional role as peacekeepers. The Republic is also experiencing financial challenges, not to mention that their ability to safeguard and maintain peace in the planets allied with their cause is being questioned. The Separatists at the moment are perceived as a powerful yet rebellious group that seeks to destabilize the existing order. Their aggressive tactics, especially when it comes to invasion, has made them be perceived as merciless conquerors and terrorists. Moreover despite having a strong coalition of independent systems, their territorial claim as well as recognition as a legitimate power is small relative to the Galactic Republic. Beyond the superficial aspects of the clone wars, there are rumors that there are larger forces at play orchestrating this conflict, and these events are simply the beginning of a much darker ploy. Nevertheless, whether this conflict will have a swift end or turn out to be one of the deadliest conflicts the galaxy has ever witnessed remains to be seen…
