Council of Interplanetary Affairs, 2300 AD
It’s the year 2300 and technology has come even further than we thought physically possible. After several advances in transportation, communication, and healthcare, people were living longer and traveling farther—Earth was rapidly becoming overpopulated. With that, it was time to look to the stars and become a multi-planetary species.
Now, we’ve begun colonizing Mars and Venus and are looking to expand even farther. But, before we set our sights beyond the Milky Way we need to resolve some key political, ethical, and scientific questions right here at “home.” Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to see us into a peaceful and productive interplanetary future. Can we learn from our past mistakes? Can we predict future ones and avoid them?
We here at the council for interplanetary affairs are looking for the best and brightest minds to help us advance science and policy beyond the bounds of reality. If you fit this description, join us for a weekend of intrigue, treachery, and maybe even an unexpected visit from some unidentified friends.
