Registration for CMUNCE XXVI open!

CMUNCE XXVI will be held on Columbia’s Morningside Heights Campus from January 14th to 17th, 2027.

CMUNCE is open to delegates currently enrolled in a high school/secondary school. Delegates may attend with a delegation or as an Independent Delegate.

Per Advisor Fee

For example, if you wish to bring 12 delegates and one advisor to CMUNCE, your total invoice will be $1445.00 (12 Per Delegate Fee, 1 Delegation fee, 1 Per Advisor Fee).

In an effort to make the conference more accessible, CMUNCE does not allow for delegations consisting of more than 30 delegates.

Independent Delegates do not have to pay the Delegation Fee and will compete under their own name, not the name of their school. Independent Delegates must bring at least one Advisor/chaperone.

Mission Visits tickets are an additional $20.00 per delegate (advisors do not need tickets). At CMUNCE XXVI, delegations will have the unique opportunity to visit a Permanent Mission to the United Nations in Lower Manhattan, near the UN Headquarters.

Important steps and deadlines

  1. Fill out the registration form before 11:59 pm ET on Friday, October 30th, 2026. Once you have completed the registration form, you will be sent a confirmation email that will include a SecurePay payment link. Complete registration is contingent upon full payment of your balance, due by 11:59 pm ET on Friday, November 6th, 2026.
    • If the payment will be paid by credit card, you may complete the transaction through our payment link. There is NO processing fee when paying by this method. Please note that it is highly encouraged to pay by credit card.
    • If the payment will be paid by a check or wire transfer, we will send you an invoice and wire transfer and check information. Payments will incur a 5% processing fee for all payments made through this method. Payment must be postmarked by November 6th, 2026. Failure to complete payment by November 6th will incur a late fee of $100.

  2. Within a week advisors will receive a confirmation email.
  3. Drop delegates by 11:59 pm ET on Friday, November 13th, 2026 for a half refund. This is the LAST day to receive a refund.
  4. A committee assignment preference form will be released to advisors on Thursday, November 12th. Advisors will be able to rank available committees by preference (but not the specific positions) their delegates would like to receive.
  5. The committee assignment preference form will be due Tuesday, November 24th at 11:59 pm.
  6. Committee position allocations will be released to advisors on Sunday, November 29th.
  7. In mid-November, advisors will receive the Code of Conduct, liability forms, and a media release, to be handed in with committee assignments.1
  8. Committee delegate assignments will be due Friday, December 11th. Advisors will need to submit the names of delegates and their corresponding positions.

1This year, we are excited to announce a revamped Press Corps committee, where delegates will step into the shoes of news reporters to cover the rapid debates and negotiations taking place across our committees.
