Register for CMUNCE XXVI

CMUNCE XXVI will be held on Columbia’s Morningside Heights Campus from January 14th to 17th, 2027.

CMUNCE is open to delegates currently enrolled in a high school/secondary school. Delegates may attend with a delegation or as an Independent Delegate.

CMUNCE XXVI registration opens at 9:00 am ET on Friday, September 18th, 2026. Registration is on a rolling basis until it closes at 11:59 pm ET on Thursday, October 29th, 2026, or until we reach conference capacity.

Per Advisor Fee

For example, if you wish to bring 12 delegates and one advisor to CMUNCE, your total invoice will be $1445.00 (12 Per Delegate Fee, 1 Delegation fee, 1 Per Advisor Fee).

In an effort to make the conference more accessible, CMUNCE does not allow for delegations consisting of more than 30 delegates.

Independent Delegates do not have to pay the Delegation Fee and will compete under their own name, not the name of their school. Independent Delegates must bring at least one Advisor/chaperone.

Mission Visits tickets are an additional $20.00 per delegate (advisors do not need tickets). At CMUNCE XXVI, delegations will have the unique opportunity to visit a Permanent Mission to the United Nations in Lower Manhattan, near the UN Headquarters.

Registration checklist

Important steps and deadlines

  1. Fill out the registration form after 9:00 am ET on Friday, September 18th, 2026. Once you have completed the registration form, you will be sent a confirmation email that will include a payment link. Complete registration is contingent upon full payment of your balance, due by 11:59 pm ET on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2026. Please note that it is highly encouraged to pay by credit card.
    • If the payment will be paid by credit card, you may complete that payment through our payment link. There is NO processing fee when paying by this method.
    • If the payment will be paid by a check or wire transfer, we will send you an invoice and wire transfer and check information. There is a 5% processing fee for all payments made through this method. Payment must be postmarked by 11:59 pm ET on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2026. Failure to complete payment by 11:59 pm ET on Tuesday, November 13th, 2026 will incur a late fee of $100.
  2. Within a week advisors will receive a confirmation email.
  3. Drop delegates by 11:59 pm ET on Friday, October 23rd, 2026 for a full refund.
  4. Drop delegates by 11:59 pm ET on Friday, November 13th, 2026 for a half refund.
  5. In mid-November, advisors will receive the Code of Conduct, liability forms, and a media release, to be handed in with committee assignments.1
  6. Committee assignments will be released on Sunday, November 29th, 2026.
  7. Committee assignments are due on Friday, December 11th, 2026.

1This year, we are excited to announce a revamped Press Corps committee, where delegates will step into the shoes of news reporters to cover the rapid debates and negotiations taking place across our committees. For this, delegates are required to sign a media release form. Stay tuned for more details!
