We are pleased to announce that CMUNCE has secured a hotel block with discounted rates for delegations at the InterContinental New York Times Square (300 W 44th St, New York, NY 10036) for Thursday (January 11th, 2024), Friday (January 12th, 2024) and Saturday (January 13th, 2024) nights of the conference. It is highly recommended for delegations to stay at the InterContinental as it is the official partner hotel of the conference and a Midnight Crisis session will be hosted at this venue.

The room rates (excluding state and local taxes) are as follows:

• $299.00/night for a room with a king size bed,

• $299.00/night for a room with two double beds, accommodating up to four people.

Note: Delegations booking ten or more rooms will be charged a mandatory porterage fee of $10.70 per bag (based on a minimum of two bags per person) for roundtrip service. Additionally, all rooms will be charged a $50.00 flat fee for hotel staff to remove all alcohol from the room prior to arrival, per CMUNCE policy.

Our Secretariat has been working through Columbia travel services and administration to secure the best rate for our delegations. We urge delegations to make their reservations when they register for CMUNCE. Rooms must be booked before 5:00 PM EST on December 18th, 2023 to guarantee our discounted rates.

The InterContinental is conveniently located near Times Square and is a two minute walk from the 1 train, which will take you directly to Columbia University! All rooms are equipped with free wifi and guests have complimentary access to the fitness center. The InterContinental is also nearby many great restaurants and tourist attractions, making it the perfect hotel for CMUNCE attendees.
