Conference Policies - Zero Tolerance Policy

CMUNCE holds all delegates and staff to a high standard of conduct and behavior. The following details such policy. Any questions pertaining to the Zero Tolerance Policy should be directed to our USGs of Public Relations at public.relations@cmunce.org.  

CMUNCE has a zero-tolerance policy for debate or crisis arcs surrounding the following topics:

  • Any explicitly stated or implied discrimination pertaining to the identity of a delegate (including, but not limited to, the race, religion, sexuality, gender-identity of the delegate),

  • Any explicitly stated or implied discrimination pertaining to the identity of a character (including, but not limited to, the race, religion, sexuality, gender-identity of the character),

  • Any explicitly stated or implied act of mass violence, including but not limited to genocide and ethnic cleansing,

  • Any explicitly stated or implied act of suicide, 

  • Any explicitly stated or implied torture of any kind, 

  • Any explicitly stated or implied sexual violence and/or harassment of any kind, 

  • Any use of any slur.

CMUNCE staff will use best judgment practices to allow or not allow debate or crisis arcs surrounding the following topics:

  • Any use of swear words/crass language,

  • Any excessive and/or unnecessary discussion of drugs and drug paraphernalia,

  • Any graphic use of violence and weaponry in general.
