CRISIS DIRECTORS

Step into the heart of dynamic decision-making as a Crisis Director! Whether you're orchestrating a corporate boardroom clash, steering a historical crisis, or shaping a storyline inspired by your favorite show, you’ll bring your ideas to life. As a Crisis Director, you’ll craft a comprehensive background guide and control the unfolding narrative throughout the conference. Don’t worry—our experienced USGs of Committees will be there to work with you every step of the way. No experience is needed!

For freshmen, we offer a specialized program with closer mentorship from our Chief of Committees to help you gain confidence and skills. Apply here!

Graduate and undergraduate students, apply here!

the COF Program

The Secretariat recruits first-year students from all four of Columbia's undergraduate colleges for a unique opportunity to be involved in every aspect of the conference through the Conference Operations Fellows Program.

As COFs, members of the Class of 2027 and 2028 will be given leadership roles within the conference planning process, thus exposing them to the inner workings of CMUNCE and allowing them to work side by side with members of the CMUNCE XXIV Secretariat.

Chosen for their strong work ethic, professional skills, dedication, and desire to learn, COFs play an integral role in the conference planning process. After the program, many COFs go on to serve as Secretariat members, Committee Directors, or as members of the CIRCA Executive Board.

Please see the full application here: https://bit.ly/cofxxiv. Applications are due on Friday, September 27th at 11:59pm ET

STAFF CMUNCE

If you’re a current Columbia student (graduate or undergraduate) interested in staffing CMUNCE XXIV in January 2025, please email us at public.relations@cmunce.org!

Whether you're interested in being on the dais or executing crises behind the scenes, there is no greater fun than staffing a committee.

CMUNCE has an incredible variety of committees seeking vice chairs and crisis analysts who want to become immersed in the unique world constructed by both staff members and committee delegates.

So come fly on the TARDIS, sit with shoguns and emperors and presidents, learn a new language, or even just stay at home in Columbia... albeit a Columbia 48 years in the past.
