The Maze Runner: Council of the Glade

Picture1.png

Inspired by the 2009 young adult dystopian science fiction novel The Maze Runner which in 2014 was turned into a Fox film adaptation, this committee has three core features: Civilization building, exploration, and political strategy. Approximately 200 teenagers find themselves in the Glade with no idea of who they are or how they got there—the only thing they remember is their name. The Glade is a 800m^2 space enclosed by a mile-high wall, with a door to a large labyrinth that opens every day and shuts closed every night. Supplies are provided monthly for the Gladers in order to survive, and they seem to be safe inside the Glade at the moment.

The delegates in this committee have been chosen to be in this council because each of them are the leaders of an individual job group in the Glade. In this committee, the delegates are tasked with writing a document of rules and guidelines, forming a social order, and managing their individual groups while still exploring the labyrinth. Watch out for Grievers, and remember:

WICKED is good.
